Since last July 10th, you can buy Padrón peppers online through the Internet, at www.pimientospadron.com.
This is another worldwide innovation from Quizcamp. These small peppers are grown by Quizcamp at the Quinta Nª Sra. do Rosário, Santiago do Escoural, and by selling them online we are able to provide a service of excellence to the customer, who has the chance to purchase them fresher, cheaper and more conveniently.

Quizcamp sells Padrón peppers to Spain
Quizcamp is already supplying the main horticultural markets of Spain whit its Padrón peppers. Produced by Quizcamp, at the Quinta Nª Sra. do Rosário, Santiago do Escoural, Montemor-o-Novo, with the use of our own cultivation technique, our Padrón peppers are of the highest quality.

Minigarden awarded in Spain
During its presence at this year’s Iberflora fair, the Barcelonan company Digebis, Minigarden’s distributor in Spain, participated in the 4th edition of the “Diego Salmerón” Business Awards and received the 1st prize in the “Originality Award” category, with Minigarden.
These prizes, promoted by the Spanish Garden Centre Association, are awarded each year at the Iberflora fair, in Valencia. Iberflora is the biggest gardening products fair taking place in Spain.

Minigarden with distributors in Portugal, Spain, United Kingdom, Italy and France
Quizcamp has been consolidating its internationalization process by establishing contracts with distributors for the Minigarden system in the European market. Quizcamp starts to grow Padrón peppers
Since last August 24th, Quizcamp is growing Padrón peppers. These are being grown in Quizcamp’s hot-house, at the Herdade de Nª Sra. do Rosário.
Due to the excellent results being obtained, Quizcamp expects to increase production in future campaigns. Besides growing and selling Padrón peppers, Quizcamp is also testing its Vertical modular system.
This system, patented by Quizcamp, results in significant competitive benefits, like the increase in productivity and the reduction in workmanship costs, among many others.

Minigarden with its own stand at Spoga (Germany) and Glee (England) trade fairs
Through MiniGarden, Quizcamp was present at the two most important gardening trade fairs in Europe. In September 2-4 at Spoga, in Köln, and two weeks later at Glee, in Birmingham. Both fairs were a major success.
This significant investment in Minigarden’s marketing gave rise to hundreds of contacts with virtually every country in Europe, but also with Southeast Asia (Japan, Taipei, India), Canada, United States and South Africa.

Tourist project for QNSR to be designed by Architect Manuel Aires Mateus
Quizcamp challenged Architect Manuel Aires Mateus to design a true work of art for the Quinta N. Sra. do Rosário. The project comprises a 16-room country hotel and several leisure areas, recovering and expanding the seventeenth century manor-house of the farm; it will also include a restaurant and 10 rural tourism units.
The restaurant will result from the reconversion of a small existent building located in the east area of the Monte das Casas de Baixo estate.
Some old structures existent in Aldeia da Biscaia will be reconverted to create the rural tourism units. These will be disposed in a row, and will have one bedroom, a yard and a private garden with a pool.
This touristic complex, together with its heritage of culture, nature and landscape, will become a reference in the touristic offer of Vila do Escoural.

MiniGarden is the innovative solution for you to have a kitchen or flower-garden at home. This new product, developed by Quizcamp, is already available in Portugal, through major DIY and garden centres.
You will find it, for instance, at the AKI store of Alfragide, Lisbon, the Gigagarden in Albufeira, or the BAOBA in Leiria.
Minigarden will soon be available also in Spain, Andorra, United Kingdom, Eire, Italy, Austria, etc.
In Portugal, Minigarden is distributed by Liscampo.

Expojardim: public presentation of the MiniGarden system
Quizcamp made the national public presentation of the MiniGarden modular system at the Expojardim exhibition, which took place in Exposalão, Batalha, between March 1st and 4th. Minigarden is an innovative product, internationally registered, developed by Quizcamp in a partnership with Quotidian Research. With this system, any person can grow ornamental plants, seasoning herbs and small vegetables in modules that can be stacked, and create a vertical flower or kitchen-garden.
The affluence exceeded expectations, both at professional level and for the public in general.

Quizcamp starts to grow strawberries
In November 5th, Quizcamp started to grow strawberries of the “candonga” variety. Similarly to the Padrón peppers, the cultivation was made in the Vertical modular system. Quizcamp expects to pick and sell the first strawberries in January next year.
