When we bought the farm, it had a pig breeding facility, operating but not licensed, with 90 sows and all the pollutant effects associated: open air pools with no waste water treatment, intense foul smells, etc. The first steps taken by Quizcamp were to stop immediately that activity and find a solution to use the building.
Consequently, the idea was born to convert the building into a mushroom growing facility.
The architectural project associated with the intervention has been already approved by Montemor-o-Novo municipality and we expect to begin the works next February. |
